The Lodge is an easily accessible 18th Century former gatehouse set in 8 acres of land. The Lodge is steeped in history and is accessed through the magnificent original gates and former entrance to Enmore castle. The Lodge is located in Enmore, somerset on the lower slopes of the beautiful Quantock Hills between the historic towns of Bridgwater and Taunton. We are very conveniently located approximatley 5 miles from JUNCTION 24 of the M5.


Our newly refurbished luxury suite can accommodate up to four people. This beautiful suite is located on the ground level with separate access from outside the main house so you can come and go as you please. The suite opens out in to its own private garden area with spectacular views of the Quantock Hills. Off road parking is supplied directly outside the suite.

We offer a very welcoming stay where our guests comfort and needs are our top priority.  

The quantock hills being the first area in Britain to be designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are a popular and fantastic location for walking, cycling, horse riding and enjoying nature.

Enmore Park championship golf course is only a very short distance from the Lodge. 

We are located near some fantastic Wedding Venues.

The 12th Century Church of St Michael, Enmore is only a couple of minutes walk away from The Lodge.

We are only about 8 miles from the famous West Somerset Steam Railway (Bishops Lydeard station) which is Britain’s longest “heritage” line.
